Andy Stephey started their career in 1991 as a Senior Master Sergeant in the Ohio Air National Guard, a position they held until 2021. In 1994, they joined Savage & Associates as an Agent before transitioning to Nationwide Insurance in 1996, where they worked as an Agent until 2002. In the same year, Andy became the Owner and VP of Sales and Marketing at UIS Insurance and Investments, where they are currently employed. Throughout their career, Andy has acquired various professional designations including AFIS, CIC, CRM, and LUTCF.

Andy Stephey earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree from Bowling Green State University, where they attended from 1993 to 1995. In 2002, they obtained the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow certification from The American College. In 2004, they obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. In 2009, they obtained the Certified Risk Manager certification from the same institution. Most recently, in 2011, they obtained the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc.
