Devana Cohen has a strong background in investment and finance, with a focus on public markets. Devana began their career as a Senior Design Engineer at International Rectifier in 2000 and worked there until 2003. In 2005, they joined Toyota Financial Services as a Treasury and Pension Analyst. After two years, they moved on to The California Endowment, where they served as Director of Public Markets from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Devana worked at The Ford Foundation as an Associate Director, focusing on Public Markets. Devana'smost recent position was at UJA-Federation of New York, where they first served as Director of Investments starting in 2013 and then as Chief Investment Officer from February 2019 onwards.
Devana Cohen completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. Devana pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they acquired a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in March 2010.
