Shaffi Abubakar

Shaffi Abubakar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to the present. In 2015, Shaffi began as a Quality Insurance Intern at Mumias Sugar Company. In 2016, Shaffi co-founded Yida Garments Koyonzo and in 2017, Shaffi founded YIDA HUB in partnership with BLOOH. In 2019, Shaffi was a Quality Assurance Manager at https://www.blooh.co/, a Global Outreach Contributing Member at the American Society of Microbiology, a Quality Control Lead at Webuye Grain Millers Ltd, and an Africa YES Alumni at the Africa YES Centre. Most recently, in 2022, Shaffi began working as the Head of Business Operations at UjuziKilimo.

Shaffi Abubakar attended ST Peters Mumias High from 2008 to 2011 and achieved an A minus in O.level. Shaffi then attended Kenyatta University from 2012 to 2015 and received a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General.
