Charles Donald

Charles Donald currently serves as Chief Executive and Head of Financial Institutions Group at UK Government Investments since May 2018. Additionally, Charles holds the position of Chair of the Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices at OECD - OCDE from January 2021 until December 2024, and has been a Non Executive Director at the UK Infrastructure Bank from May 2021 to August 2024. Previously, Charles worked at Credit Suisse from February 2010 to April 2018 as Co-Head of UK Investment Banking and Vice Chairman, and at Nomura from October 2008 to January 2010 as Head of UK Investment Banking and Managing Director. Charles also held the role of Head of Corporate Broking and Managing Director at Lehman Brothers between June 2001 and September 2008, served as Associate Director of Equity Research in Europe at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1998 to 2001, and was an Executive Director at UBS from 1994 to 1998. Charles completed education at the University of Southampton from 1984 to 1987.
