Blake Barlow

Blake Barlow has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2013, Barlow worked at Walgreens as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician and later transitioned to a role as a Pharmacist Intern until 2018. In 2016, Barlow joined UK HealthCare as a Pharmacist Intern and continued in that role until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Barlow pursued residency programs at Massachusetts General Hospital, serving as both a PGY-1 and PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident. In 2021, Barlow moved to WVU Medicine as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager. Currently, Barlow holds the position of Associate Director of Pharmacy Operations at UK HealthCare.

Blake Barlow has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Blake also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, completed from 2019 to 2021. In addition, Blake holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Gatton College of Business and Economics, earned between 2016 and 2019. Their undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Xavier University, completed from 2011 to 2015. Blake has also obtained additional certifications as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in December 2020 and as a Six Sigma Green Belt from LeanCor, A Transplace Company in 2017.
