Joel Kenrick

Joel Kenrick serves as Policy & Strategy Deputy Director at the UK Infrastructure Bank since November 2021, leading the policy and strategy function for this HM Treasury owned development bank. Previously, Joel led the UK Emissions Trading Policy at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from February 2020 to November 2021, overseeing a team responsible for establishing the UK Emissions Trading Scheme. Joel's prior experience includes significant roles at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the European Climate Foundation, The Boston Consulting Group, and as a consultant in various capacities. Joel's educational background includes studies at Harvard Kennedy School and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
