Loukas Douvaras has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Radio Presenter & DJ at Mythos 93.4FM and later at Rockradio 104.7 Thessaloniki. In 2015, they joined the Hellenic Navy as a Senior Seaman (Information & Communication Systems Specialist) before transitioning to the energy industry. At ENGIE, they worked as an Energy Analyst in 2017. Loukas then joined Atelier Ten as an Electrical Engineer from 2017 to 2020. Following that, they worked at AECOM, first as a Risk Manager and later as a Senior Risk Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they joined UK Power Networks as an Innovation Project Lead, where they manage a portfolio of projects focused on decarbonisation of heat and electricity network efficiency.
Loukas Douvaras has a strong educational background, with a Master's Degree in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017.
