Amit Pujari is an accomplished academic and engineer in the field of Biomedical Engineering with extensive experience since 2003. Currently serving as a Royal Academy of Engineering Industrial Fellow and Associate Professor at the University of Hertfordshire, Amit also holds roles as a Member of the UK Young Academy and Review Editor for Frontiers in Neurorobotics. Previous positions include Clinical Engineer at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Research Associate at the University of Leeds, and Research Assistant at the University of Aberdeen. Amit's research has focused on medical devices, including the development of novel neuromuscular stimulation devices and electromechanical knee simulators, alongside expertise in regulatory and engineering matters related to medical technology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and a PGCert in Professional Innovation Management from the University of Leeds.
