Clemency Lion (née Huggins) has a diverse work experience in various sectors, with their most recent position being Director of Research, Policy and Communications at ukactive since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as Chief of Staff at the House of Commons from March 2023 to June 2023.

In 2022, Clemency served as a Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for a brief period from September to October 2022.

Clemency Lion (née Huggins) began their education in 2009 at the University of Bath, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, Spanish, and European Studies. Clemency successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2013. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, Clemency attended The London Institute of Banking & Finance, where they pursued and received a Diploma in Banking Practice and Management.
