Chidambaram Elumalai

Chidambaram Elumalai is a highly accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud operations, and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Global Head of SRE, Observability/Platform Engineering at UKG since October 2023, Chidambaram previously held the position of Senior Director - Head of SRE, Data Platform and Operations at Coupa Software, where responsibilities included leading cloud operations and modernizing SaaS services. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Qualys, overseeing cloud infrastructure and security operations, and significant positions at Western Union, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and McKinsey & Company, where Chidambaram was instrumental in driving engineering and operational excellence while managing large-scale cloud architectures and infrastructure migrations. Chidambaram holds an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California and advanced degrees in systems engineering and computer science.
