Eddy Lara

Eddy Lara is a Principal Architect at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) since August 2020, where responsibilities include developing a migration strategy from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based design and establishing multiple stream-aligned teams. Prior to UKG, Eddy Lara held various roles at Ultimate Software from June 2007 to August 2020, starting as a Software Engineer Intern and progressing to Technical Lead. Key achievements include designing integrations with third-party vendors, building a new Recruiting application, and pioneering the use of Kanban for enhanced feature throughput. Eddy Lara holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida International University, earned between 2002 and 2007.
