Tom Lambert

Tom Lambert is a Principal Software Engineer at UL Solutions since February 2023, leading the development of Windographer, a software for wind and solar data analysis. Prior to this role, Tom served as Technical Director of Information Services at UL from September 2016 to February 2023 and AWS Truepower, a UL Company, from December 2014 to September 2016. Tom was also the CEO of Mistaya Engineering from February 1998 to November 2014, focusing on wind resource assessment software and renewable power system design. Earlier career experiences include engineering positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where Tom developed the HOMER computer model, and Munro Garrett International, where Tom programmed DIMS™ software in C++. Tom holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
