Hector Avilez Soto

Hector Avilez Soto has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Hector began their career as a Computer Science Teacher at La Estancia School in 2013. In 2016, they worked as a Software Project Manager at INPREMA and as a Freelance Web Developer / Designer. Hector was also a Project Manager and Co-Founder at SwitchHon from 2014-2016. From 2017-2019, Hector was an IT Product Owner and QA Lead at Walden University. In 2020, they were a Product Manager at Hello Iconic and in 2021, they were an Executive Strategic Advisor at Impact Hub Tegucigalpa and a Technical Product Management & Software Engineering Manager at Sumadi. Currently, Hector is the Head of Product Operations at ULedger, where they are responsible for productizing their product and engineering efforts, as well as managing their blockchain's and application's infrastructure and security.

Hector Avilez Soto obtained a Computer Science Engineering degree from the Universidad Católica de Honduras 'Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz' between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras degree from Centro Escolar Aldebarán between 1999 and 2009. Hector has also obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Software Product Management from Coursera in November 2019, Docker Mastery from Udemy in November 2018, Certified Blockchain Project Manager from Blockchain Training Alliance in November 2021, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2020, Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2020, and Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2019.
