Megan Sperry is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital media production, education, and social justice advocacy. Currently serving as the Ulster County Legislator for District 17 since January 2022, Megan also owns Little Light Pictures LLC, a production company focused on non-fiction content with a social justice perspective. Megan holds the position of Associate Professor of Digital Media Production at SUNY New Paltz and has held various teaching roles at other institutions, including Dutchess Community College and Columbia-Greene Community College. Prior to these roles, Megan directed and produced "The Domino Effect," a documentary examining gentrification in Brooklyn. Megan's educational background includes an MFA in Integrated Media Arts and a BA in Media Studies from Hunter College, as well as an AAS in Advertising and Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
