Alison Barie

Alison Barie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles over the years. Alison'smost recent position was at Ulteig, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer starting in August 2023. Before that, they worked at SkyWater Technology Foundry as the Vice President of Finance from February 2022 to July 2023.

Prior to these roles, Alison had a long tenure at CHS Inc., a global agribusiness company. Alison held various positions within the finance department, including Senior Finance Director - Transformation, System Implementation, Finance Operations, and Op Ex from February 2018 to January 2022. Alison also served as Finance Director - Strategy & Planning, M&A, Operational Excellence, and Transformation from February 2015 to February 2018.

Before joining CHS Inc., Alison worked as a Consultant at Salo LLC, a boutique consulting and staffing firm, from September 2012 to February 2015. Alison'sresponsibilities included advising senior finance leaders on process transformation, operation excellence, and business development.

Alison's earlier experience includes roles at Best Buy, where they worked as Senior Finance Manager - Strategy, FP&A from March 2010 to September 2012 and as Senior Finance Manager - M&A, Transformation, and Change Management from June 2008 to March 2010. Alison also worked at 3M as a Finance Manager - M&A from September 2006 to June 2008, a Business Unit Controller from September 2004 to September 2006, and as a Senior Tax Analyst from September 1999 to September 2004.

Alison started their career at McGladrey & Pullen as a Tax Staff/Senior in public accounting from January 1997 to September 1999.

Alison Barie holds a Master's Degree in Business from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Alison also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College. In addition to their formal education, Alison has earned several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Lean Certification from CHS Inc. in January 2020, Change Management/Leadership Practitioner certification from Destra Consulting Group, LLC in October 2019, Lean Executive Leadership Academy certification from the University of Kentucky Lean Systems Program in September 2019, St. Thomas Executive Program (STEP) certification from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business in December 2018, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Best Buy in June 2009, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from 3M in January 2003, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (inactive status) from the Minnesota Society of CPAs in August 2000.
