Kathryn R. Anderson has extensive experience in the legal field, primarily focusing on contract law and compliance. Kathryn R. started their career at Alstom Power in 2000, providing legal support for the North American Thermal Service sector. During their time there, they specialized in compliance, specifically in U.S. Export Control Management. In 2009, they joined General Electric (GE) after the company purchased Alstom Power. At GE, Kathryn served as Multiple In House Counsel and advised on various legal matters, including risk mitigation, contract negotiation, and technology contracts. In 2017, they moved to nVent, where they worked as an Associate General Counsel, providing legal support to a global segment leader, overseeing contracting efforts, and collaborating with regional counsel on cross-border transactions. Currently, Kathryn is the Director of Legal, Enterprise Risk, and Compliance at Ulteig, where they lead the legal department, manages outside counsel and the legal budget, writes legal reports, and provides legal support on contracts, compliance, and other special projects.
Kathryn R. Anderson attended Quinnipiac University School of Law from 2005 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Law. In December 2012, they obtained the certification of being a Member of the Minnesota State Bar from the Minnesota Board of Law Examiners. Kathryn R. also became a Member of the Federal District of Connecticut Bar, certified by the District of Connecticut. Additionally, in June 2010, Kathryn obtained a certification as a Member of the Connecticut State Bar from the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch.
