Evan Haning

Evan Haning is a Systems Engineer II at Ultima Genomics, where responsibilities include leading the company’s first total-platform contamination study, experimental design, and end-to-end system characterization. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on thin-film processing techniques and optimizing embossing processes, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant involved in course material redesign for online administration. Earlier roles at Oregon State University included Honors Researcher and Undergraduate Researcher, where projects encompassed magnesium-based MOF thin-films for carbon dioxide sensing and anti-cancer molecule synthesis. Evan holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University.
