Kevin Heinemann

Kevin Heinemann is a scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and next-generation sequencing, currently working at Ultima Genomics since April 2019. Prior to this role, Kevin held positions as Scientist I and II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where notable contributions included the development of the AmpliSeq HD library kit and the Precision ID NGS STR panel, alongside significant work in enzyme evolution and sequencing kit optimization. Kevin also completed internships at Life Technologies, focusing on polymerase design and next-generation sequencing techniques. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Microbiology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
