Mike Meller

Mike Meller is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at Ultima Genomics since October 2018, with prior roles as Senior Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer at the same company. Previously, Mike worked as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine from June 2017 to July 2018, focusing on mathematical modeling in C++ and MATLAB to study cardiac disease. Additionally, Mike coached novice Lincoln-Douglas debate students at James Logan High School during the summer of 2014, emphasizing critical thinking and argumentation techniques. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Oregon State University from April 2023 to April 2025.
