Shay Perchik

Shay Perchik is a Senior Data Scientist at Ultima Genomics since May 2022, with prior experience as a Data Scientist at Clalit Innovation from October 2018 to April 2022, where the development of a production-level prediction model for COVID-19 infections was a key achievement. Shay's background includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, focusing on Neural Networks and the Nervous System, and significant leadership experience in the Israel Defense Forces' Unit Matzov, where responsibilities ranged from software engineering to team leadership and technical recruitment. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Science from Ben-Gurion University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, along with additional training in software development and technology officer leadership.
