Lucas Markelon

As a Director, Lucas is responsible for providing reporting services to Private Equity clients and as well as working on the day-to-day operations for the clients.

Lucas joined Ultimus LeverPoint in July 2022, bringing with him over twenty years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Lucas worked at BlackRock as a Director where he managed U.S. and International financial reporting, compliance, valuations and tax for multiple private equity funds. Before that, he held Controller positions for multiple private equity investment advisors. Lucas began his career with UHY Advisors in Hartford Connecticut.

Lucas received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Outside the office, Lucas enjoys spending time with family and friends.
