Principal Image Data Scientist at Ultivue

Friedrich Preusser has a strong background in imaging data analysis and research. Friedrich is currently working as a Senior Image Data Scientist at Ultivue, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Max Delbrück Center from 2017 to 2022 as a Research Associate, where they developed algorithms and software tools for large-scale microscopy and conducted data analysis of large datasets. During their time there, they also participated in collaborative research projects and published 9 papers. Before that, they worked at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from 2016 to 2017, where they completed their Master's thesis project. In this role, they designed interactive dashboards for gene expression analysis, established an automated microscopy workflow, and implemented image analysis strategies. Friedrich also worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Centre for Genomic Regulation from 2015 to 2016, where they contributed to the development of a high-throughput RNA-protein interaction screen and implemented an NGS analysis pipeline.

Friedrich Preusser completed their education in the field of molecular biology. Friedrich obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Molecular Biology from Universität des Saarlandes and University of Strasbourg in the years 2011 to 2014.
