Senior Director, Investor Relations & Communications at Ultra Clean Technologies

Alison Trollope, MSc CPIR F.CIRI has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades in investor relations and communications. Alison is currently serving as the Senior Director of Investor Relations & Communications at Ultra Clean Technology since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at 44 Strategic in 2020.

From 2013 to 2020, Alison held the position of Director of Communications and Investor Education at the Alberta Securities Commission. In this role, they were responsible for managing up to a $4 million budget and supervised a high-performing team of 10. Alison was also a member of the executive committee, contributing to important strategic decisions and programs. Alison played an integral role in business planning, risk management, and talent management.

Alison was actively involved in the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) as the Chair of the Alberta Chapter and a National Board Member from 2013 to 2015.

Their experience includes managerial roles in investor relations at Canadian Oil Sands Limited from 2010 to 2013, where they initiated and led the rebranding efforts for the company during its transition from an income trust to a corporation. Alison also worked as a Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at OPTI Canada from 2005 to 2010, where they implemented strategic programs during the construction of the $6.3 billion Long Lake mega project.

Prior to that, Alison worked as an Executive Director of Investor Relations at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2004 to 2005 and as a Director of Investor & Public Relations at Maxygen from 2000 to 2004. At both companies, they managed comprehensive investor relations programs and oversaw external and internal communications.

Earlier in their career, Alison held positions at Cohn & Wolfe as an Account Supervisor from 1998 to 2000 and at Noonan/Russo as an Account Executive from 1997 to 1998.

Overall, Alison Trollope possesses a strong background in investor relations, communications, and strategic planning, with notable expertise in managing high-value budgets and leading diverse teams.

Alison Trollope holds an MSc in Public Relations from the Syracuse University - S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication. Alison also obtained a CPIR (Certified Professional in Investor Relations) from the Ivey Business School at Western University. For their undergraduate education, Alison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold the Certified Professional in Investor Relations (#CPIR) Designation from the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), which they obtained in June 2013.
