Russell Scovill has a diverse work experience. Russell started their career at Yukon Heath's Emporium in 2013, where they served as a Manager and was responsible for managing a team of 20 employees, training new employees, and creating schedules to accommodate tourists. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Equipment Coordinator at Shake Rattle & Roll, coordinating with clients, delivering and assembling equipment, and operating sound systems for various events. In 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Bliss Industries, LLC, where they converted 2D drawings into 3D models, created drawings and bill of materials for manufacturing, and ensured compatibility for new part designs. In 2020, they worked on a project at Oklahoma State University, researching and designing a device for sterilizing hospital equipment. Currently, they are employed at Ultra Clean Technology as an NPI Manufacturing Engineer, where they utilize their extensive knowledge of manufacturing practices, assembly prints, and bill of materials to create manufacturing-ready documentation. Russell also worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, supporting engineering activities and performing tests using engineering methods.
Russell Scovill completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oklahoma State University, where they studied until 2020. Russell also obtained various certifications, including Certified SolidWorks Advanced Professional certifications in Sheet Metal, Weldments, and Drawing Tools from Dassault Systèmes in 2021. In the same year, they achieved a Certified SolidWorks Associate certification in Additive Manufacturing, a Certified SolidWorks Professional certification in Mechanical Design, and became a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel Expert 2019 and Word Expert 2019 from Microsoft. Additionally, they obtained an Engineer In Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in December 2020. Russell further expanded their knowledge by becoming a Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Professional - Technologist (GDTP) through ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in 2021 and acquiring a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in November 2020.
