Hyeon Lee

Hyeon Lee, Ph.D., is a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Design Engineer at Ultra Clean Technology since March 2021, specializing in analytical and numerical analyses of mechanical products and systems using CAE software. Prior to this role, Hyeon served as an Industrial Designer at EPIX Audio where consumer earphones were designed and prototyped, leveraging CAD software and advanced manufacturing techniques. Hyeon's academic journey includes significant research contributions at Virginia Tech as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on acoustics, energy harvesting, and immersive reality, alongside teaching responsibilities. Hyeon also gained experience at Auburn University within the Multi-Scale Tribology Lab. Hyeon holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree from Auburn University, and a Bachelor's degree from Sogang University.
