Chris Hamblett

Chris Hamblett has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. Their previous roles include being the Search & Evaluation Lead for Rare Diseases at Takeda and holding various positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development and Director of Strategy & Business Development. Before that, they worked at Pfizer as the Director of WRD Strategy & Competitive Intelligence. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a Therapeutics/Medical Technology Equity Research Analyst at Cowen and Company and as a Senior Research Chemist at Merck.

Chris Hamblett completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry at Hamilton College from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 1999 to 2004, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Columbia University.
