Parameswaran Vijayakumar

Parameswaran Vijayakumar is a seasoned professional in the field of zoology and marine biotechnology, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Umami Meats since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Scientist at Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology in Chennai from September 2014 to December 2021, and a position as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) from April 2008 to March 2014. Parameswaran holds a Ph.D. in Zoology with a focus on Marine Biotechnology, obtained from C. Abdul Hakeem College between 2003 and 2007, and an M.Phil. in Zoology/Animal Biology from the same institution in the 2002-2003 academic year.
