Nicolas Garneau

Nicolas Garneau is a Postdoc Researcher and Collaborating Researcher at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen - DIKU, since February 2020, focusing on natural language processing research at the Coastal Lab. Additionally, Nicolas has served as an AI Scientist at Umaneo since May 2016, specializing in automatic natural language processing techniques such as document classification, information extraction, automatic text generation, named entity recognition, design of search methods, and testing modern NLP models. Previous academic roles include lecturing and assisting in the Deep Learning course at Université Laval during 2019 and 2020. Nicolas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Université Laval, along with a Master's and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
