Garrett Hamm

Garrett Hamm has extensive experience in finance and auditing, currently serving as AVP / Senior Treasury Analyst in Capital Planning at UMB Bank since August 2014. In this role, Garrett prepares capital forecasts, conducts ad hoc analyses, and reviews investment portfolio credit risk, along with performing Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing. Previously, Garrett worked as a Senior Staff Auditor, assessing compliance and financial statement risks, and held positions at McGladrey as an Assurance Senior Associate and Associate, focusing on audits of various entities. Earlier experience includes accounting work at Wendling Noe Nelson and Johnson, LLC, where Garrett completed audits and prepared financial statements for healthcare clients, as well as a role as a Tax Associate at H&R Block. Garrett holds a Master's degree in Financial Reporting and Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Kansas, alongside additional training from the CFA Institute.
