Justin Palmer

Justin Palmer has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Justin is currently employed as a Backend Software Engineer at Umbra since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at NEXT Energy Technologies as an Engineer II from April 2021 to January 2023, and as a Device Fabrication and Reliability Technician from 2019 to March 2021. Justin also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for the Built Environment from September 2015 to April 2016, where they contributed to the development of prototypes for personal heating and cooling devices. Additionally, they were a Researcher at the Solid State Lighting and Energy Center from June 2015 to August 2015, focusing on the development of a method to produce gallium nitride crystals.

Justin Palmer earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the UC Berkeley College of Engineering in 2019.
