Rory Letteney has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Starting in 2014, Rory worked as a Program Technician at the USDA Farm Service Agency, where they were involved in compliance programs, second party reviews, and various administrative tasks. In 2016, Rory served as a Lead Technician at Pet Scoop Services, and later as a Press Operator at Lavelle Industries, Inc., where they were commended for their speed and quality of work. They then joined Associated Materials as a Temporary General Laborer in 2018 before transitioning to a Junior Software Developer role at MSUITE in 2019. In this position, Rory collaborated with stakeholders to deliver new product functionality and integrated third-party tools to streamline development processes. Rory's most recent role was as a Full-Stack Software Developer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where they successfully completed multiple projects, delivered major features within schedule, and led documentation and automated testing efforts. Currently, Rory works as a Web Application Crafter at Umbrage, where they began in April 2023.
Rory Letteney began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. This educational pursuit took place from 2008 to 2013. In 2015, Rory attended Team Treehouse where they gained knowledge in various areas such as HTML5, CSS3, Unity Game Engine, and Python.
