Matheu Nazareno

Matheu Nazareno is currently the UMC Trauma and Emergency Medicine Lead Study Research Assistant at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, focusing on the Tenosynovitis Ultrasound Study under Dr. Jamie Baydoun. Previously, Matheu served as President and Vice President of the UNLV Pre-Health Honor Society Alpha Epsilon Delta NV Beta Chapter, overseeing volunteer events and member management. Matheu is also a Geriatric Clinical Patient Care Coordinator with the Nevada Interprofessional Healthy Aging Network, contributing to improving geriatric patient care. Additionally, Matheu instructs training for medical scribes at Volunteers in Medicine, Southern Nevada, while developing training curricula. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in neuroscience at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Matheu has held various leadership and research roles since January 2020.
