Angela Richmond

Angela Richmond has over 18 years of work experience in research administration and grants management. Angela started their career in 2003 as a Grants Specialist at the University of Kansas, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, they joined the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) as the Director of the Office of Research Administration and Advancement (ORAA). In this role, they were responsible for facilitating the proposal submission process, negotiating awards, and managing post-award administration. Additionally, they also served as the compliance officer for various regulatory bodies. Angela's most recent position at UMCES is as the Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.
