Russell Hill

Russell Hill currently serves as the Executive Director and Professor at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) since September 2012, also holding the title of Executive Director and Professor at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science since January 2019. Russell has a rich academic background with professorship roles at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and the University of Mississippi, along with significant leadership experience as Conference Director for the 11th International Marine Biotechnology Conference from January 2015 to December 2016. With a robust educational foundation in Microbiology and Marine Molecular Ecology, Russell has contributed to marine biotechnology research and education for several decades across various esteemed institutions.
