Naheen Toolsee

Naheen Toolsee, a registered Professional Engineer, has over 20 years of experience in the water treatment and process engineering fields. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Umgeni Water since May 2009, Naheen has provided essential technical support during critical flooding events and led a professional team of approximately 60 staff as Acting Process Services Manager, enhancing performance under resource constraints. Previous roles include significant contributions to technology infrastructure evaluations and large-scale projects in both Sud-Chemie and Mondi Group, where Naheen secured substantial investments for infrastructure improvements. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Bachelor of Engineering in Water Utilisation Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of Pretoria.
