Matt Collette

Matt Collette is an accomplished academic and naval architect with a strong background in marine technology and engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan, Matt has also held positions as both Assistant Professor and Professor at the same institution. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Naval Architect at SAIC and a Junior Research Associate at Newcastle University. Matt Collette earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Technology from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute.
