Junfei Weng

Junfei Weng is a skilled Product Application Manager at Umicore since February 2022, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2015 to December 2021. During the academic tenure, Junfei innovated in the synthesis of advanced catalysts, designed experimental methodologies, and developed systems to enhance growth efficiency. Junfei also worked as a Graduate Student Intern at Umicore, focusing on data collection and analysis for diesel aftertreatment systems. Previously, Junfei gained experience as a Summer Fellow at UConn's Technology Incubation Program, an intern at 3D Array Technology LLC, and a Chemical Course Instructor. Junfei holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from Beihang University.
