Pauline So

Pauline So, PhD, is a highly experienced scientist specializing in discovery and biopharma. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Umoja Biopharma since November 2021, Pauline leads the Automation Matrix Team, focusing on high-throughput platforms for LVV production and CAR candidate screening. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at Umoja Biopharma and Scientist II at bluebird bio, where Pauline contributed significantly to CAR platforms and NK cell optimization. Early career experiences include various positions at CDRD, Harvard Medical School, and Mount Sinai Hospital, among others. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and an MSc in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology from the University of Toronto.
