Jen Amano

Jen Amano is an experienced professional in higher education administration, currently serving as the Associate University Ombuds at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since November 2024. Previously, Jen held significant roles at Mercy University, including Associate Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct and PACT Counselor from October 2019 to November 2024. Earlier in the career, Jen worked as a Residence Coordinator at UNC Charlotte and as a Hall Director at the University of West Florida, overseeing student staff and managing residence halls. Additionally, Jen's experience includes an internship with Florida Atlantic University, a client support role at the National Student Clearinghouse, and various positions in conference and guest services. Jen earned a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Management from George Mason University.
