Cynthia Bash

Cynthia Bash is currently serving as HCS Director of Patient Access at UNC Health since October 2023. Prior to this role, Cynthia held the position of Director of Patient Access Services at Wellstar Health System from December 2019 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Patient Access Director for Parkridge East Hospital and Patient Access Manager at Parallon from March 2013 to December 2019. Additionally, Cynthia worked in Revenue Cycle Services at Cardiology, PC from May 2010 to March 2013, and held a Patient Access role at Brookwood Medical Center/Conifer Health between June 2002 and March 2013. The career began with a position as Dispatcher at Blount County 9-1-1 from August 1996 to August 2001. Cynthia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the same institution (2008-2011).
