Joe Jones

Joe Jones, BSN, RN, currently serves as a Clinical Nurse II at UNC Health, specializing in critical care nursing for patients post-major cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. With expertise in invasive dynamic devices such as CRRT, LVAD, and VA/VV ECMO, Joe previously participated in the Vizient New Graduate RN Residency Program and completed extensive critical care education through the AACN & Center for Nursing Excellence. Additional roles include Administrative Coordinator, overseeing administrative functions for a nursing support department, and Patient Remote Observer, ensuring patient safety through remote monitoring. Joe also acts as an Instructor for American Heart Association CPR and First Aid courses. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Chapel Hill, along with prior studies in Pre-Nursing and a High School Diploma focused on Health Professions. Previous experience includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Unit Secretary Volunteer.
