Derek Carter

Derek Carter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Derek began their career as an Instructor at Guru Labs in 2003. Derek then worked as a Linux Admin III at the Florida Department of Health in 2006. Derek later served as a Sr Systems Administrator at Cox Radio Interactive from 2007 to 2009 and as a Systems Engineer at Cox Media Group digital from 2009 to 2010. Derek then joined CORAID as a Quality Assurance Consumer Advocate Engineer from 2010 to 2012 before moving on to Bluehost.com, where they worked as a Sr Systems Architect from 2014 to 2017. Derek's career progressed further when they became a Principal Software Engineer at Nav Inc. from 2017 to 2021. Derek then joined UserTesting as a Staff DevOps Engineer from 2021 to 2023.
