Martha Perez

Martha Perez, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of biosciences. Martha began their career as a NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester Medical Center from June 2006 to January 2009. Martha then worked as a Scientist in Genomic Services at Life Technologies from May 2009 to February 2010. From February 2010 to September 2012, Martha worked as a Technical Support Scientist at BD Biosciences. Martha then moved on to ForteBio, where they served as a Field Applications Scientist from September 2012 to March 2015. Martha joined Unchained Labs in March 2015 and held several roles, including Field Applications Scientist, Field Applications Manager, and Global Director of Field Applications until October 2019. From October 2019 to December 2021, they worked as a Technical Sales Account Manager in the Southwest region for Unchained Labs. Martha also served as the International Distribution Sales Manager at Unchained Labs from December 2020 to September 2021. From January 2017 to October 2019, they held the position of Global Director of Field Applications at Unchained Labs. Most recently, Martha worked as the Director of Marketing for LNP Solutions at Unchained Labs from January 2022 to July 2023. In their current role at Unchained Labs, Martha serves as the Sales Director for the West NA and LATAM regions.

Martha Perez, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Biophysics from the University of Rochester. Martha also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry/Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
