Tamar Fleshler

Tamar Fleshler is currently a Security & Privacy Engineer at Uncommon Goods. Prior to that, they were a Security Consultant at Aon from August 2018 to December 2021. There, they performed Web application penetration tests and secure source code review in various languages, including C#, C++, and Java. Tamar also used a web proxy to view, fuzz, and modify parameters during dynamic web application tests, as well as look for common security bugs.

From May 2017 to May 2018, Fleshler was a Web Editor at the University of Southern California. And from June 2016 to August 2016, they were an Analytics Intern at DigitalC, where they worked directly under the Director of Community and Developer Relations to help community groups, businesses, and software developers utilize data more effectively. Her task that summer was to increase employee literacy of tech and help these organizations be comfortable with using data and technology on a regular basis.

Fleshler has also held positions as an Office Intern at USC Dornsife Office of Advising from August 2015 to December 2016 and as a Volunteer at Los Angeles Team Mentoring, Inc. from October 2014 to May 2015.
