Kira L’Heureux

Kira L. is currently a Product Owner for High Frequency Surgery at KLS Martin Group, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis focused on the design and fabrication of a modular concentric tube robot at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) and roles as a student assistant in applied computer science and biomedical engineering, where Kira engaged in tutoring and programming. Kira participated in the Femtec Careerbuilding Programme, contributing to autonomous site design at Deutsche Telekom, and held a Werkstudentin position at Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH, involving experimental setups and temperature measurement. An internship at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America provided experience in CAD design and mechanical calculations. Kira holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KIT and Instituto Superior Técnico, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KIT and Purdue University and an International Baccalaureate from Newport Harbor High School.
