Marko Samardzija has a diverse work experience. Marko served as the President of the Undergraduate Business Society (UBS) and successfully recruited corporate partners and sponsors for events, resulting in increased revenue and student participation. Marko also held the role of Vice President of Corporate Relations at UBS and Director of Corporate Relations. Marko worked as a Data Quality Analyst at Cohere and a Sales Consultant at Notadoor | State-Of-Art Doors. Marko was the Co-President of TEDxYorkU and organized various events while providing guidance to executive committees. Additionally, Marko gained experience as a Client Service Representative at CIBC. Marko also founded the Sick Kids Initiative, where they oversaw event planning, fundraising, and membership recruitment.
Marko Samardzija completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they attended Michael Power from 2016 to 2020, majoring in Mathematics with an IB degree.
