Thiago Augusto de Lima Burgo

Thiago Augusto De Lima Burgo is an accomplished chemist with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Maringá (2007), a Master's degree in Surface Physical Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2009), and a PhD in Mechanochemistry from the same institution (2013). Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Unesp since September 2022, Thiago previously held the position of Professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria from July 2016 to August 2022. Thiago has extensive postdoctoral experience, including work at Argonne National Laboratory and the National Nanotechnology Laboratory, focusing on materials science and tribology. Research contributions include studies on tribocharged polymers and the interactions of dielectrics with flowing liquids, under the guidance of notable scientists.
