Johan Åman

Johan Åman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Johan is currently the CEO of Unibap AB (publ) since November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Strategic Advisor and President at Scienta Scientific from March 2014 to November 2022. Johan was also the CEO of Scienta Omicron from May 2015 to March 2022. Other notable positions include being a Member of the Board at LunaLEC AB from July 2013 to February 2016, and at Cobolt AB from April 2012 to October 2015. Additionally, they served as the CEO of VG Scienta AB from February 2013 to May 2015. Prior to these roles, Johan worked at Micronic Mydata AB in various senior management positions, including Senior VP of Product Management and R&D, Senior VP of R&D, VP and General Manager of Business Unit Semiconductor, Senior VP of Strategic Programs, VP of System & Application Development, Product Manager of Display Products, and Sales Engineer for Japan & SE Asia. Johan held these roles from 1996 to 2012.

Johan Åman has a diverse educational background. Johan started their academic journey at Chalmers University of Technology, where they pursued a Tech. Lic. degree in Atomic Physics from 1992 to 1996. In 1991, they briefly attended Imperial College London and obtained a M.Sc. degree in Applied Optics the following year. Afterwards, Johan returned to Chalmers University of Technology, where they completed a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from 1988 to 1992.

To expand their knowledge beyond the technical realm, Johan pursued an MBA degree in International Business from the University of Gothenburg in 1995 and 1996. In 1999 and 2000, they further enriched their education by attending Stockholm School of Economics, where they completed a program called Integrated Leadership at IFL, focusing on leadership.
