Adrian Boylan has extensive experience in the field of technology and IT management. Adrian is currently working as the Head of Technology at UNICEF UK since June 2023. Prior to this, Adrian worked as the IT Implementation Programme Manager at Llais Cymru from March 2023 to June 2023. Adrian also served as the Head of Information Technology at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London from February 2021 to January 2023. Adrian has experience in project management and worked as a Project Manager at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council from March 2020 to February 2021.

Adrian has also held leadership positions in the public sector, including Head of IT at the London Borough of Redbridge from March 2017 to July 2019, and Chief Officer/Head of ICT at the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames from May 2006 to October 2016. Adrian has also contributed to the development and implementation of IT strategies in the non-profit sector, serving as an Assistant Director at Scope from May 1999 to May 2006, and as the Head of Information at Christian Aid from September 1994 to May 1999.

Earlier in their career, Adrian worked as a Management Systems Adviser at the International Planned Parenthood Federation from August 1991 to September 1994, where they implemented clinic management systems for family planning associations in the Middle East. Adrian also worked as a Business Systems Analyst at K3 Group Ltd from 1990 to 1991. Adrian has a proven track record of successfully managing and transforming IT systems and infrastructure, improving productivity and efficiency in various organizations.

Adrian Boylan has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. Adrian also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree from UCL, although the field of study for this degree is not specified. In addition to their academic qualifications, Adrian Boylan has obtained certifications including the Prince 2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016 and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from the same institution in 2015.
