Guy le Roy

Guy Le Roy is an experienced security professional with a robust background in leadership and operations, currently serving as the Regional Security Coordinator at UNICEF since July 2015. Responsibilities include managing security personnel, coordinating safety arrangements for UNICEF operations, and maintaining relationships with various organizations and host country authorities. Prior to UNICEF, Guy Le Roy held the position of Managing Director and COO at G4S Djibouti, providing strategic leadership in operational management. Previous roles also include Senior Security Consultant at G4S and a lengthy career in the French Navy where Guy Le Roy served for 27 years in special forces. Academic qualifications comprise an MBA and a Master’s degree in Maritime Law Enforcement.
